Unfortunately the sun is not here but hopefully soon.Who am I kidding we never get sun in Glasgow!Anyway i'm feeling a little perky as it's bank holiday weekend approaching and this little track makes me smile.Sun hail from Ohio and like other bands Ohio Players,Slave etc they were releasing some hot funk tracks in the seventies."Sun Is Here" was released on Capitol Records in 1978 and is a tight funky number with those "ooh ooh","ooh ooh" chants.Great stuff.
As I said bank holiday this weekend and really looking forward to Greg Wilson at The Melting Pot on sunday night at The Admiral.I've had the pleasure of seeing Greg playing out a couple of times and i'm sure this is going to be another splendid night.
