This is a very special track indeed and really needs no introduction.D. Train's "You're The One For Me" was released in 1982 by Brooklyn duo James 'D Train' Williams (lead vocals) and Hubert Eaves 111 (keyboards, bass, drums and arrangements) on Prelude records. It gained great success here in the U.K at the time and with Francois Kevorkian on the remix duties it was be getting heavy rotation by Larry Levan at the Paradise Garage. This mix though comes from another prolific remixer Shep Pettibone who at the time was also at the forefront with dance mixes on New York's 98.7 Kiss FM.This was released as a double album due to the fact his mixes on radio were so popular and was titled 'Mastermixes'.With his top production/remix skills it wasn't long before he would be in demand with the likes of The Pet Shop Boys,Janet Jackson,Madonna,Erasure and New Order helping them gain chart and club success. So what you get here is a true classic and another piece of dynamite from the amazing Shep Pettibone.
